Meat Loaf

Meatloaf Seasoning
Yields approximately enough to season 2 - 3 Lb meatloaf when prepared as per our recipe
Ingredients: Onion flakes, oregano, garlic, paprika, basil. Spicy meatloaf also contains cayenne pepper.
Recipe:
2 Lbs. Ground Beef (or Ground Turkey)
1/2 Lb. Italian Sausage (ground) Hot or Mild
1 Pkg. Phil's AMAZING Meatloaf Seasoning
2 Med. Eggs
1/4 Cup Bread crumbs, uncooked Oatmeal or Matzo Meal.
2 tbps. Water
1 Can Crushed or Stewed Tomotoes or Tomato Sauce (15 oz.)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Combine all ingredients (except the can of Crushed Tomatoes or Tomato Sauce) in large bowl. Mix well.
Press into a 9x12 baking dish or loaf pan. Leave room around the edges for excess liquid to drain.
Cover and bake for 30-40 minutes. Remove cover and drain excess liquid. Continue to bake (uncovered) for about 15 minutes more (or until done).
Drain most of the remaining liquid again using remainder on top of loaf to keep it juicy.
Top with Crushed Tomatoes or Tomato Sauce and serve.
